ASSOCIATE
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•CKL associates are all college-educated with an interest in helping students achieve their academic potential. Associates teach math and reading fundamentals to small groups of up to 10 students in Kindergarten through 12th grade.
•Associates maintain student records and hold periodic meetings with parents to discuss progress. CKL provides instructional materials, training and support.
•Associates can elect to work between 3 and 15 hours per week during after-school hours (2-6PM) and on weekends. Positions available at multiple school locations in the communities we serve. Associates work as independent contractors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
•2+ years’ college experience; Bachelor’s degree, education majors preferred.
•Experience working with youth in an educational environment; formal teaching experience highly desired
•Ability to keep students engaged and excited about learning
•Excellent communication skills; ability to work effectively with parents as well as students
•Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
•Timely, reliable and accurate record keeping abilities
•Model of pro-active integrity and ethics
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Internet (access required to submit on-line reports)
•Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation.
All Associates must pass a county issued background check.
